Girls in Aviation Day celebrations
Women in Aviation India (WAI) covered a total of 12 destinations for Girls in Aviation Day celebrations in the year 2018. A remarkable journey that it is, it also provided a chance for WAI India to reach out to young aviation enthusiastic girls in different cities across the nation. A daylong event helped girls to better understand the working of industry along with various careers and job opportunities available. The idea was to encourage girls to take up STEM subjects and explore career opportunities in related industries. We also thank our supporters who have been with us throughout this path of learning and encouragement for girls.
