Girls in Aviation Day 2021 - 24th September 2021
Women in Aviation India (WAI) hosted the 6th celebration of Girls in Aviation Day on 24th September 2021 at Vidya School, Gurugram. More than 250 girl students and alumni who were part of the program had the opportunity to choose this career for which they will be trained. Role models and professionals from various sectors of Aviation, hospitality and tourism addressed the girls at the event and regaled them with their experiences and what to expect if they choose this career line.
The event also witnessed a fun and interactive quiz competition and was concluded with an exciting drone flying session. The students also got to witness an aircraft model presented by Lockheed Martin.
